Judgment of God upon Modern Sodom, Gomorrah and its Neighbors.
The Neighbors of Sodom and Gomorrah
MODERN SODOM MODERN GOMORRAHFor the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” (I Peter 4: 17-18). Vengeance is Mine says the Lord, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them. For the LORD will judge His people and have compassion on His servants, when He sees that their power is gone, and there is no one remaining, bond or free (Deuteronomy 32:32-36).
The judgment of God against wicked Sodom and Gomorrah and its neighbors of our generation is an ongoing fulfilled prophecy revealed by the Lord Jesus Christ. Little by little, He has been talking to this writer, revealing His judgment and will upon them.
The judgment of God against the wicked modern Sodom (Times Square Church, NY) and Gomorrah (Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International) and their neighbors of our generation (U.S. government), The history of the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah, is found in (Genesis 14:1-24; 18:16-33 - 19:1-20), as one of many events that developed during the lifetime of Abraham. The cry against the grievous sins of Sodom and Gomorrah was great, and God responded to the cry of the people. His vengeance against those two cities is seen in the irreversible judgment that He brought upon them.
The Sodomites were very wicked, they made an agreement among themselves that whenever a stranger visited them, they would force him to sodomy. According to the Bible, when the Sodomites saw the young men (the angels) to be of beautiful countenances, they resolved to sexually enjoy these beautiful boys by force and violence. Sexual immorality was one of their many grievous sins in the sight of the Lord, as the reason why Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed (Jude 7), homosexuality in gang-rape of visitors, night after night, over many years, would certainly have been more than a sufficient cause for God to destroy this place. Abraham’s brother Lot's horror was expressed over having his sacred offer of hospitality violated; (2) adultery (Jeremiah 23:14); although the men of Sodom had developed a taste for sexual violence and male rape, they were still heterosexuals, husbands, and fathers, who bore children and kept the city populated; (3) also walked in lies; (4) and strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turned back from his wickedness (Jeremiah 23:14); (5) proud and haughty and committed abomination before the Lord, (6) had the fullness of food and abundance of idleness; (7) neither did they strengthen the hand of the poor and needy (Ezekiel 16:49-50), (8) they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom, God came to them as a thief in the night and rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all (Luke 17:28-29).
The Sodomites, then, were vile creatures who broke the revered custom of offering hospitality– instead to inflict pain, and torture on travelers who turned into the city seeking simple shelter and safety for the night. The Sodomites' attention was focused on the wrong thing – on sexual violence, instead of caring for the poor and needy people and strangers. Old Testament prophets of the Bible and later Jews often recalled Sodom and Gomorrah as an unforgettable metaphor of human wickedness and divine punishment and they used this to declare how Israel or other nations would be brought to utter destruction and desolation, often with lightning speed, for their evil deeds. The prophets pointed to a variety of sins, including forsaking the Lord to worship other gods (Deuteronomy 29:22-28); taunting God's people (Zephaniah 2:8-11); bloodshed, injustice, neglect of orphans and widows (Isaiah 1:9-11,15-17); adultery, lying, and aiding evildoers (Jeremiah 23:10-15), etc. One can see that some of these sins connect with Sodom and Gomorrah.
God doesn't change the way He is and operates about judgment. As judgment was in the past, it is at the present and future time. But the time has come, however, for judgment to begin at the house of God (I Peter 4:17). Since 2005, based on the revelation of God, as it was in the days of Abraham, so it is also in our days: The judgment of God is seen upon the church as it was upon Sodom and Gomorrah, accountable for the same type of sins in addition to the sins they committed against myself. Likewise, as it is upon the Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International, it is upon Times Square Church, New York; their tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of His glory. The look on their countenance witnesses against them, and they declare their sin as Sodom; they do not hide it says the Lord (Isaiah 3:8-9). As a result of God's judgment upon the church, soon, we will be witnessing the exodus of the wicked Sodom and Gomorrah of our generation, the wicked pastors of the Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International and Times Square Church, New York. God will replace the wicked for the righteous in both churches. Unless the Lord of hosts leaves to us a very small remnant, we could become like Sodom, and could be made like Gomorrah (Isaiah 1:9-20). Even so will it be in the day when Jesus Christ, the Son of God is revealed (Luke 17:26-30).
Also, the wicked cities of Admah and Zeboim, the neighbors of the Sodom and Gomorrah of the bible, were overthrown by the Lord (Jeremiah 50:40). Likewise as it was then, it is with the neighbors of the Sodom and Gomorrah. The neighbors, the wicked federal, city, and state officials whom the Lord has already declared His irreversible judgment upon, and all individuals like the mainstream and “supposed alternative media, hackers, and hijackers, who have offended or cursed her and her family in one way or another (Deuteronomy 32:32-36). Karen Rajabian is a Jew-Honduran, and the promise of the Lord to the Jews regarding justice is forever faithful (Genesis 12:1-3).
Without a doubt, we will know how the Lord will go about punishing their evil deeds.
