In the history of the world's creation recorded in the Bible, "Prepare the Way of the Lord," is the prophecy to be fulfilled three times. John the Baptist’s ministry was the first fulfillment of that ancient prophecy regarding the beginning of the restoration of the people prophesied by Isaiah the prophet as stated below (Isaiah 40:3-5); (Matthew 17:11-13), (Luke 3:1-18).

“Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.” The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” The voice said, “CRY OUT!” “All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of the Lord blows upon it;  surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” (Isaiah 40:1-8)

Who was John the Baptist?

John was a man sent by God to the people of Israel. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was truth Light which gives light to every man coming into the world (John 3:6-9), to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, and guide our feet into the way of peace. (Luke 1:79).

The Ministry Mission of John the Baptist

By the prophetic revelation of The Lord Jesus Christ, the second fulfillment of the prophecy of the restoration of the people is being fulfilled during this generation of people. In 2004, God spoke to this writer regarding her ministry. In 2005, God confirmed her ministry to Pastor William Carrol, from Times Square Church New York. He said that Karen is preparing the way of the Lord!

In that order, the Lord began to fulfill written Bible prophecies before the End of Times to save Jews and Gentiles under the new covenant in Jesus Christ. Thus, the same prophecies that were fulfilled in the life of John the Baptist are being fulfilled in me at the present time to prepare the way of Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ, and Messiah of Israel. More than 2023 years ago, John prepared the way of the Son of God prior to His first manifestation to Israel (Luke 3:1-18), and so do I at the present time.

Both, John the Baptist and Karen Rajabian are God's chosen Jews, whose preparation for ministry and experiences are found to be similar. By the will of God, John and Karen had a great and powerful ministry mission to accomplish. According to his father Zacharias, and angel Gabriel, John’s mission was to give knowledge of salvation to God’s people, by the remission of sins, through the tender mercy of God (Luke 1:76-79), as well as to testify about Jesus Christ as the Son of God (John  1:32-34), and turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God, going before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord Jesus (Luke 1:14-17).

It was in the wilderness that God prepared John the Baptist and Karen Rajabian for ministry. John grew strong in the spirit and was in the wilderness till the day of his presentation to Israel (Luke 1:80). Neither John nor Karen attended any theological seminar; neither he pursued a P.H.D. or a Master or a Bachelor Degree in Theology to prepare for ministry nor they were looking for a prophetic office where to establish their offices. While they were in the wilderness, the word of the Lord came to John the Baptist and Karen Rajabian (Luke 3:2); God granted them the revelation and proclamation of the kingdom of God (Matthew 3:1-2), confession and baptism of repentance for the remission of sins (Mark 1:4-5), and judgment (Matthew 3:7-12), the truth (John 5:33) about Jesus Christ as the Son of God (John 1:32-34), His salvation (Luke 3:6), and His deity, by telling him that upon whom they see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit (John 1:32-34).

John the Baptist Preaching Message

More than two thousand and twenty-three years ago, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar (Luke 3:1-2) as a just and holy man of God (Mark 6:20), John the Baptist began his teaching and preaching ministry (Luke 3:12-13); (John 3:25-26). His appearance gave place to the present age of God’s grace, notable in the proclamation of the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ (Mark 1:1-8), and His presence (John 1:16-18).

John is the "man who formed the watershed of the ages, who bridged the gap between the period of promise (Isaiah 40:1-3) and the period of fulfillment (Luke 3:1-6), and who by his proclamation opened a way for the kingdom of God." The kingdom began to break into the world with the introduction of John the Baptist (Matthew 3:1-2), preparing a way for the Lord Jesus Christ before His mighty manifestation to the people of Israel.

As John and Karen lifted up their voice like a trumpet to preach the gospel, they were preparing the way of the Lord Jesus Christ before His manifestation to the people of Israel and the world; they were exhorting the people. In this way, they ministered to people of different levels of society, the poor and outcasts of society, working men, religious leaders such as the Pharisees, and governing officials, the rich, the proud, and the people living in darkness and the shadow of death (Luke 1:79). As a messenger of God, who in His sight was the greatest of the prophets and persecuted against (Matthew 11:7-15), John ministered in the spirit and power of Elijah (Luke 1:17). The preparing the way message that John delivered was the beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Mark 1:1-8), saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” (Matthew 3:1-3).

John was the first to proclaim, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand" Matthew 3:1-2). The kingdom of God was "coming," yet “in the midst,” beginning in the person and ministry of Jesus Christ. He went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth; And all flesh shall see the salvation of God’” (Luke 3:1-6). All the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins. And he preached, saying, “There comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit” (Mark 1:1-8).

According to the Holy Scriptures, John and Karen preached repentance by means of a change of heart, not just a change of actions. They promoted the expectancy and acceptance of the Lord Jesus, crying out against the spiritual darkness of his time, warning people to repent of their sins and bear fruits of repentance, to change their ways, and to submit to God. Again, John's preaching message was very clear --  Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! He said to the religious leaders of the Pharisees that approached him, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.  And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire” (Luke 3:7-9).

The response to the preaching message delivered by John the Baptist calling the people to repent to prepare their hearts for the Lord Jesus Christ, is the same response Karen Rajabian preparing the way of the Lord message of repentance has received with some people being disobedient to God's call to repent, and show fruits of repentance or else to expect judgment and punishment: So the people asked him, saying, “What shall we do then?”  He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”  Then tax collectors also came to be baptized, and said to him, “Teacher, what shall we do?”  And he said to them, “Collect no more than what is appointed for you.”  Likewise the soldiers asked him, saying, “And what shall we do?”  So he said to them, “Do not intimidate anyone or accuse falsely, and be content with your wages.” Now as the people were in expectation, and all reasoned in their hearts about John, whether he was the Christ or not,  John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.”  And with many other exhortations he preached to the people (Luke 3:10-18) KJV.

John and Karen preached the word of God, exhorted, and pronounced judgment to the crowds of people, including the political and religious leaders of Israel. Their message head off to the church of the Lord, a community mixed with good and bad people. On God's threshing floor, both could be found, the wheat and the chaff. God will thresh His floor to separate the good from the bad. Threshing wheat requires violence.   

Under the curses of the old covenant that are written in the Book of Deuteronomy 29:21; mankind was low in state (Luke 1:48), the outcasts of society, the poor, widows, orphans, the blind, demon-possessed, deaf-mute people, paralytics, epileptics, lepers, the harlots, were afflicted for their transgressions and iniquities, drawing near to the gates of death due to their sins (Psalms 107:17). In the sight of the Lord, as the lowly valleys, they are in need to be filled, exalted, and comforted with the hope of the good news of the Coming One who would lift them up with good things (Luke 1:52-53):  From being heavy laden and brokenhearted, the Lord would heal and liberate them from bondage (Luke 4:18-19), (Matthew 11:28-30). From living in darkness and shadow of death to live in Jesus Christ, the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world (Luke 1:79; 3:32); (John 1:1-8); (Matthew 4:16). From being the children of Satan (I John 3:10), to become the children of God (I John 3:1). From a state under the law, to a state of grace (Romans 6:14). From a state of death to a state of eternal life (I John 3:14). From the power of darkness to convey us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (Colossians 1:13). From a state of condemnation, to a state of justification (Romans 5:16). From a state of being the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him (James 2:5). Every mountain and hill will be brought low: the mountains and hills, the religious leaders such as the Pharisees, the government officials, politicians, the rich and the proud people. The people's pride would be humbled, ending in shame and humiliation (Luke 14:11). The lofty looks, as the outer manifestation of the hearts of the proud people, will be exposed (Isaiah 2:11,12,14,17). The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough ways smooth: All acts of sinful nature (Galatians 5:19-21), the thoughts of many hearts were to be revealed (Luke 2:34-35), all the hidden things kept secret by the people and all the obstructions blocking the way of God who would manifest Himself to the world would come to light and be exposed before (Mark 4:24), (Isaiah 57:14). 

At the call of repentance, those who had prepared their hearts to welcome the visitation of the Messiah of Israel were comforted and experienced spiritual liberation in many aspects of their lives, including the healing of sicknesses and diseases by the power of God through Jesus Christ (Luke 4:14-44). Jesus healed the cripple, the mute, the blind, the epileptic, the deaf, and the dumb. No disease or sickness was too big or small for Jesus. The native church apostles followed in their Master's footsteps, and by the power of the Holy Spirit and the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, many were healed and delivered from sickness and disease. 

In that same way, it will also be during this generation; all flesh will see the salvation of God, the mighty manifestation of the Lord Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit of God when they have repented of sin and have a heart prepared to Him. They will be comforted by the Holy Spirit of the Lord and experience the healing power of God in their lives. However, those who do not believe in God and His word and do not prepare their hearts to Him will see the presence and salvation of God  in Jesus Christ in the life of others.

Persecution against John the Baptist

John the Baptist was persecuted by the wicked religious leaders of Israel, so it was Karen by the wicked pastors and staff of Times Square Church and the government of the United States of America. It is written: Since the days of John the Baptist, time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it (Luke 16:16). From the days of John the Baptist and Karen Rajabian until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12).

The following are the words of the Lord Jesus Christ regarding the persecution and prophetic ministry of John the Baptist and Karen: When the messengers of John had departed, He began to speak to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed those who are gorgeously appareled and live in luxury are in kings’ courts. But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. This is he of whom it is written:  ‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You.’  For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” And when all the people heard Him, even the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.  And the Lord said, “To what then shall I liken the men of this generation, and what are they like? They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, saying: ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we mourned to you, and you did not weep.’ For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by all her children” (Lucas 7:22-35).

Without a doubt, in the sight of the Lord, John the Baptist and Karen are the greatest of the prophets!
