PART 1; PART 2; PART 3; PART 4; PART 5; PART 6; PART 7; PART 8; PART 9; PART 10; PART 11; PART 12; PART 13; PART 14
The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name (Exodus 15:3). For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you (Deuteronomy 20:4).
As we await the fulfillment of the Lord’s promises to Karen—that He will deliver her enemies into her hands, as stated in Scripture, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand,” (Genesis 14:19-20)—so that she may serve in peace, free from persecution, surveillance, harassment, and suffering, we remember the oath He swore to our father Abraham. This promise ensures that we, having been delivered from the hand of our enemies, may serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness, all the days of our lives (Luke 1:73-75). In the meantime, we continue to observe and comment on the actions of the Pharisees at the Church of God in Times Square.
On December 8, 2024, Pharisee Carter Colon, in his sermon titled "Seeing Jesus From Under His Wings," referenced Psalms 91:1-10 in an effort to persuade the congregation that they now comprehend how God delivers His people. However, once again, the Pharisees' interpretation of Scripture continues to mislead.
As Professor Rajabian explored Psalms 91:1-10, we found that it emphasizes a deep trust in God's protection and refuge. The psalmist speaks of the safety and security found in dwelling in the presence of the Most High, describing God as a refuge and fortress, providing steadfast protection from all dangers. Believers are assured that God will rescue them from harm, including metaphorical threats such as the snare of the fowler and deadly pestilence—symbols of various life-threatening dangers.
The psalmist portrays God as a protector, sheltering His people under His wings, offering them comfort and a sense of closeness. God's faithfulness is described as a shield, guarding against fear and harm, ensuring complete protection for those who trust in Him.
In verses 5-6, the psalmist assures believers that they need not fear any form of danger, whether it comes in the form of nightly terrors, hidden threats, illness, or violent attacks. God's protection is portrayed as constant and all-encompassing, covering every hour of the day and all types of danger.
The psalm also underscores God’s justice, promising that the faithful, like Karen, will witness the downfall of the wicked, similar to the fate of the Pharisees. While calamities may affect others, the believer remains safe under God's protection. Verses 9-10 reaffirm that no harm will come to those who have made God their refuge, emphasizing that God actively watches over those who seek His protection.
In summary, Psalms 91:1-10 offers a powerful assurance of God's constant protection, comfort, and security, encouraging believers to trust in Him as their refuge in times of danger, especially when facing threats.
However, after quoting this passage, Colon made several incorrect statements and misled the church on a few points.
1. Colon's claim about Israel's deliverance in Exodus 12:13-28: He said that God “delivered” Israel from harm in this passage, but this is inaccurate. What is described in that citation, is not deliverance but divine protection. The blood on the doorposts was a sign that caused God to "pass over" the homes of the Israelites, sparing them from the plague that struck Egypt. The passage states: Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. ‘So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD throughout your generations.
2. Colon's claim about God's protection during the 9/11 attacks: He stated that the Lord protected Times Square Church during the 9/11 attacks, but this is inacurrate. While God allows humanity free will, many events, including tragic ones like the destruction of churches or attacks like 9/11, occur due to human choices, not divine causation or protection. God allows individuals the freedom to make decisions, even destructive ones, in order to allow human free will.
3. Colon's claim about Times Square Church being a glorious, globally-reaching church by God's will: He described Times Square Church as a church that has grown globally because of God's will. However, in reality, the church's practices mirror those of the Pharisees from The Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International, including renting hotel rooms to host temporary services. This approach does not reflect divine glory or purpose but rather actions to exalt themselves.
4. Colon’s focus on his own concerns: Colon seemed preoccupied with his fate once he falls into the hands of his Commander-in-chief, Rajabian. Despite knowing that Rajabian must follow God's will and wait for an official order from the U.S. government to go to Times Square Church, Colon continues to demand her return before the Day of the Lord. He deceives the church by falsely claiming that Rajabian is refusing to come, even though she has been receiving his persistent calls for the past two weeks. This pressure will not sway my Commander to return to Times Square Church.
5. Colon's frustration with Rajabian became evident: his anger stemmed from her steadfast dedication to following God and her unwavering commitment to return to Times Square Church on the day of the Lord, as well as her relentless exposure of the corrupt Pharisees and their deceitful teachings. In his most recent attempt to undermine her, Colon sought to discredit Rajabian in front of the congregation, but once again, he failed. During this effort, he cited biblical passages condemning the wicked—verses that clearly applied to the Pharisees—but tried to manipulate their meaning in an effort to target Rajabian, ultimately distorting the message.
The only accurate point made by Colon is his admission that Times Square Church is the church that do everything wrong. The only time Pharisees get things right is when they copy and plagiarize Karen’s teachings from this website. Otherwise, even if they mimic her expression or phrases, they still get things wrong.
THE LORD IS MY BANNER
…Abraham, I am your shield… (Genesis 15:1). When the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19).
The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name (Exodus 15:3). For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you (Deuteronomy 20:4).
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
The wicked fall into their own nets (Psalms 141:10). For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, like birds caught in a snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them (Ecclesiastes 9:12).
The fear of the wicked will come upon him, and the desire of the righteous will be granted (Proverbs 10:24).
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not be weary (Isaiah 40:31).

Today, Gomorrah streamed another live broadcast on YouTube, featuring an archived Sunday church service focused on Hebrews 5:1-15. This sermon was originally delivered at their headquarters on May 22, 2022. It follows a series of live streams of previous archived services from the Book of Hebrews, which covered chapters 1 through 4. Those services were held on April 24, 2022, May 1, 2022, May 8, 2022 and May 15, 2022. These messages are part of a broader collection of archived sermons on Hebrews, which span from chapters 1 to 13.
Meanwhile, Piraquive has strayed from the Lord, demonstrating a clear departure from His ways. She fails to live according to the teachings she proclaims, undermines the unity of the Church, and places her own personal interests—such as her travels and the agendas of Pharisees worldwide—above God's will. Her actions have led to unrighteousness, as she has rejected the message that God entrusted to Karen Rajabian to deliver to His Church, which amounts to rebellion. As Scripture warns, "For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has rejected you as king" (1 Samuel 15:23).On December 15, 2024, the Pharisees from Times Square Church marked the Christmas season with an unbiblical event titled 'Christmas on Broadway 2024.' During the show, we observed three key highlights:
1. The choir wore black clothes, knowing that black is Karen's favorite color. However, what they didn’t realize was that while Karen does favor black and wears it often, she would never choose it for a preaching engagement. Meanwhile, the orchestra, under the watchful eye of the Pharisees, had been hired for the past two years. Aware of Karen’s love for diverse music and classical symphonies, they incorporated orchestras into the service, always aiming to stay one step ahead of her in every aspect of the church experience.
2. Pharisee Dilena wouldn’t stop saying that the church service is about Jesus not about Karen. In reality the work of God is about both, Jesus and her as the He said it: Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it (John 14:12-14).
When Jesus walked on earth He healed the cripple, the mute, the blind, the epileptic and the deaf. No disease or sickness was too big or small for Jesus. The native Christian apostles followed and His Christian Church servants follow in their Master’s footsteps. By the power of the Holy Spirit and the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, many were and are healed and delivered from sickness and disease up until today. That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:12).
What Paul emphasizes in 2 Thessalonians 1:12, is that it is not only the name of Jesus that will be glorified, but also the believers themselves. Through their faithful lives, the Thessalonians will be shown to be true followers of Christ, and in turn, they will share in His glory. This is an idea that reflects the union between Christ and believers—Christ is glorified in His people, and they are glorified in Him. This mutual glorification speaks to the profound relationship between Christ and His Church.
3. While the New Testament tells us that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born in Bethlehem of Judea, it does not specify that His birth occurred on December 25th. The association of December 25th as the birth of Jesus Christ with Christmas has no basis in Biblical Christian history. Instead, the celebration of Christmas was adopted from pagan cultural practices that were widespread at some time in history.
Did You Know Christmas Has Pagan Babylonian Religious Practices Roots?
Hear the word which the Lord speaks to you, O house of Israel. Thus says the Lord: “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the Gentiles are dismayed at them. For the customs of the peoples are futile; for one cuts a tree from the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with nails and hammers so that it will not topple" (Jeremiah 10:1-4).
The festive day of Christmas brings familiar traditions: decorating the Christmas tree, hanging ornaments, twinkling lights, the long-bearded Santa Claus, reindeer, and celebrating on December 25th. Among these, the Christmas tree has become especially popular around the world. However, the origins of these customs are deeply rooted in ancient history. For instance, the use of evergreen trees to celebrate the return of the sun after the winter solstice can be traced back to Babylonian pagan rituals.
The image of the modern Santa Claus, with his jolly demeanor and gift-giving, also carries connections to ancient Babylonian customs. The Anakim, a Babylonian evil deity, is depicted as a long-bearded figure holding a tree and accompanied by a reindeer. This image may have influenced the Santa legend, where he rides through the sky on a sleigh, rewarding children for good behavior. Interestingly, this imagery shares similarities with the biblical depiction of God, who is described as riding "on the wings of the wind" and making "the clouds His chariot" in Psalms 104:3.
Even seemingly innocent acts, such as bringing trees into our homes, placing stars atop them, decorating with silver and gold ornaments, and lighting candles, carry deeper historical significance. These practices are rooted in ancient rituals, linking Christmas to traditions that predate Christianity.
While Christmas is celebrated worldwide, for many it revolves around family gatherings, feasts, and exchanging gifts. For others, it marks the birth of Jesus Christ. However, it's important to recognize that the customs associated with Christmas do not originate from Christ’s birth. Instead, they are based on pagan traditions that predate Christianity by over two millennia. The Roman Reverence to the Ancient Sun god
The story of the sun’s symbolism and its association with renewal has roots in ancient Babylon, particularly through the figure of Nimrod. Nimrod, often identified in the Bible (Genesis 10:8-12) as a wicked mighty hunter and warrior, was also the founder of important cities such as Babylon, Nineveh, and Assyria. Nimrod was historically linked to the worship of Baal, a term meaning “lord” or “master,” and signifying someone who holds dominion over land, property, or people. He is believed to have been born on December 25th, aligning with the Winter Solstice.
The Babylonians were keen astronomers (Daniel 1:1-7 - 2:1-27), so they closely observed the sky and noted celestial events like winter and summer solstices, eclipses, and the movement of planets. Their detailed knowledge of the heavens allowed them to track the changing patterns of sunset times across the year.
In Babylon, the Zagmuk festival was celebrated to honor the rebirth of the sun god they revered (Jeremiah 8:2), a key event marking the return of longer days after the Winter Solstice. The festival was a New Year’s celebration, held in Nisanu, the first month of the Babylonian calendar, which typically fell around March or April in the Gregorian calendar. It was a time of feasting, revelry, and gift-giving, rituals that would later influence the traditions of Christmas. The festival celebrated the renewal of light and the defeat of darkness, emphasizing themes of renewal and rebirth.
Marduk, also referred to as Merodach in the Bible (Jeremiah 50:2), became the deity honored during the Zagmuk festival. Marduk’s triumph symbolized the victory of light and life, a central theme in the annual rituals of the Babylonian people. This connection between Marduk, the sun’s return, and the celebration of light would have a lasting influence on later religious practices, including those that celebrated the birth of the sun, or the "Son," even in Roman cultural and religious traditions. The Roman festival of Saturnalia, held from December 17th to 23rd, honored the god Saturn, father of Jupiter, and was characterized by feasts, gift-giving, and role reversals. It was a time of merrymaking and communal celebration, coinciding with the winter solstice. Similarly, ancient Babylonian festivals, like those honoring the god Marduk, involved giving offerings to the gods and celebrating the return of sunlight after the darkest days of the year.
Over time, these pagan customs influenced various civilizations, including the early Christian church. The adoption of December 25th as the date for Christmas is indeed a matter of historical tradition rather than being based on Christian Scripture. The Romans chose this date, likely to coincide the pagan winter solstice festivals, such as the birthday of the unconquered sun (Sol Invictus) and the continuation of Saturnalia. This helped to ease the transition to Christianity for converts from these traditions.
These ancient celebrations gradually merged, forming the foundation of what would become Christmas. Over time, they traveled through various civilizations and influenced Christian traditions. The word "Christmas" itself comes from the Roman terms "Christ" and "Mass." which directly relates to Catholic Christian liturgical observance. The date of December 25th as Christmas Day is not rooted in Christian Scripture but instead was adopted from Babylonian and Roman pagan practices. In conclusion, Christmas, as we know it today, is a fusion of pagan and secular traditions. While the holiday honors the birth of Jesus Christ, many of the symbols (e.g., threes, lights, feasts, gifts), customs and the date of December 25th have roots in pagan Babylonian and Roman festivals, celebrating the winter solstice, the return of light, and the joy of giving. These traditions, over time, merged and became the celebration of Christmas. This fusion of religious and secular practices has shaped the holiday over centuries, resulting in the global celebration of Christmas we know today.

Today, Commander Rajabian once again visited Gomorrah at the local church in Queens, New York. There, the congregation watched the live broadcast of the main church service from the headquarters in Weston, Florida, streamed on their YouTube channel. Apostle Maria Luisa Piraquive resumed her preaching from the Book of Matthew 11:1-30, as she had announced three weeks ago. At that time, she had stated that she would preach from the Book of Matthew, followed by the Book of Mark.
We can only reflect on the actions, words, and omissions of Piraquive and the Pharisees of The Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International during their services.
Matthew 11:1-30 addresses key issues in the life and ministry of John the Baptist. Professor Rajabian has written extensively on John the Baptist, emphasizing the importance of his ministry and the message he delivered to God's people, so significant that Jesus referred to him as the greatest of the prophets and as His messenger. The message that God gave to John the Baptist is the same message that Jesus entrusted to Karen Rajabian to deliver to His people. However, while Piraquive touched on John the Baptist’s ministry, she did not mention the message that Karen is to deliver on behalf of the Lord, is the same message John the Baptist preached which prepares the way of the Lord.Every week, the Pharisees and Piraquive speak about the work of God in the church, which began 72 years ago and has continued for 55 years under her leadership. Our focus, however, is not on the past work of the Lord, but on the future work that Jesus will accomplish through the Holy Spirit for the glory of God. After sixteen years of resistance to hearing what the Lord has to say to His church, it is now time to move beyond merely hearing the Word of God. Piraquive must prepare her heart and become a doer of His Word (James 1:22-24), setting aside personal interests and giving Him first place by practicing unity within the church.
On December 22, 2024, at first glance, we observed something interesting after our comment last week that while black is Karen's favorite color, she would never choose it for a preaching engagement. The Pharisees had changed their usual black uniforms for today’s sermon. Pharisee Dilena preached a sermon titled "Have You Ever Seen a Senior Citizen Holding an Infant?" Citing Luke 1:7, 23-25, he attempted to speak about God’s timing. Although it seemed he had learned from us that Karen is waiting for the return of the Lord to Times Square Church in God’s perfect timing, he misled the congregation on important points and failed to provide solid support for his claims regarding the following issues:
1. The Timing of John the Baptist's Birth: Dilena discussed the birth of John the Baptist to his elderly parents, highlighting it as an example of God’s perfect timing. However, the birth of John was foretold by the angel to his elderly father, who was told that these events would occur "in their own time" (Luke 1:20). The phrase “in their own time” indicates that the events were not immediate but would unfold naturally to fulfill God’s promises. The timing of John’s birth was not just about the age of his parents but about fulfilling God's plan for John the Baptist to prepare the way of the Lord Jesus.
2. The Birth of Jesus in God’s Timing: Dilena also spoke about the birth of Jesus in God’s timing, but his message was misleading, particularly in relation to the Christmas story. The birth of Jesus was prophesied by many Old Testament prophets, including Isaiah (7:14, 9:6-7, 11:1-10), Jeremiah (23:5-6), Micah (5:2), Hosea (11:1), and Zechariah (9:9). These prophecies were fulfilled when the fullness of time arrived, as described in Matthew 1:22-23, 2:1-6, 2:13-15, and Luke 1:32-33. Galatians 4:4-5 states, “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive adoption as sons.” The timing of Jesus' birth was precise, but the Scriptures do not claim that He was born on December 25th, nor does God require us to celebrate it.
3. Pharisee Dilena’s Criticism of Karen: Pharisee Dilena criticized Karen for making remarks on this platform, accusing her of trying to drive them out of the church to take over, disputing God's timing. The Pharisees argue from a place of misunderstanding the Word of God and His ways. God works through different timings, ensuring that everything unfolds according to His purpose. Whether His judgements, the rise and fall of empires, justice, the seasons of life, or historical events, they all serve His sovereign plan. What may appear as untimely events in our lives can still be used by God for His good purpose. A prime example is Joseph's life (Genesis 37-50). His life seemed full of untimely events—his brothers betrayed him, he was wrongfully imprisoned, and he was separated from his family. Yet, God used all these circumstances to save many lives during a famine. Joseph could later say, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20).
For Karen, this truth has been especially evident. In Romans 8:30, we are reminded that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Throughout her life, Karen has faced various challenges, particularly in her relationship with the Pharisees. In 2005, Karen received a message from the Lord that the Pharisees needed to leave Times Square Church, but they refused to heed the message. Instead, they persecuted her, a persecution that continues to this day. Karen has faced intense threats to her life and family for not submitting to their demands. Despite the events of the past 19 years, God has told her to remain steadfast and wait for specific instructions, including receiving documents from the U.S. government before she can return to the church. This serves as a testimony of her long-suffering, patience, and perseverance during God's work—His judgment, justice, faithfulness, sovereignty, and glory—especially in relation to modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah.
The timing of God is a broader subject, but due to Pharisee Dilena's limited understanding of Scripture, they chose to accuse Karen of things they do not know or understand about the Word of God. For now, Karen does not plan to expand her teachings on this matter for me to write about in this series.
Every week, as the Pharisees preach, they boast about imitating and mimicking Karen’s way of expressing herself, pretending to be teachers of the Word like her. In doing so, however, they only end up ridiculing themselves.4. The Pharisees will have a second Christmas celebration on December 24, 2024, with a planned live broadcast from Jerusalem. However, the event was unsuccessful as the show was instead streamed live from Times Square Church.

Today, Gomorrah aired another live broadcast of their main church service from the headquarters in Weston, Florida, streaming it on their official YouTube channel. In obedience to God, preacher Rajabian continues her dual mission: visiting the church and “Preparing the Way of the Lord.” As part of this mission, we are compelled to address the actions, words, and omissions of Piraquive and the Pharisees within this congregation.
While Apostle Maria Luisa Piraquive preached from Matthew 12:1-50, her actions sharply contrasted with the message she delivered, particularly regarding faith. It is widely known that God has communicated with Karen through various means, including through several of the church's prophets, revealing that she is called to serve Him in Gomorrah and to “Prepare the Way of the Lord” ahead of His manifestation to the world. However, today Piraquive once again questioned God's support for the message He entrusted to Karen, casting doubt on the mission she is fulfilling.
In light of the prophetic messages Karen has received directly from God, as well as the words spoken by the prophets within Gomorrah to prepare Piraquive’s heart for the Lord's message, it appears that Piraquive remains doubtful and dismissive of the church's prophets. These prophets violated Karen's privacy by conveying to her and the pastors the revelations shared with her at the church. Piraquive's continued rejection of God's word—asserting that God does not endorse the message Karen is meant to preach—reflects a troubling lack of faith and belief in what God has clearly communicated.
Karen Rajabian, however, has no message to preach other than the one God has entrusted to her: “Prepare the Way of the Lord.” When Piraquive claims that God does not endorse this message, it seems she is attempting to dictate God's actions according to her own desires, rather than recognizing His sovereign will in how He is working things out. Her statements and behavior reveal a lack of genuine faith in God, undermining the very belief that should guide her actions.
The statement made by Jesus in Matthew 11:23, makes clear the importance of alliance and commitment to Him: “Whoever is not with Me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters.” He clearly states that if some one is not actively supporting His mission, they are indirectly opposing it. In this context, being “with” Jesus means aligning with His message and mission. Those who refuse to do this, are essentially working against the very purpose He came to fulfill.
On December 29, 2024, Pharisee Cloude Houde preached a sermon titled "The Increase of Our Peace." While he presented himself as guiding the congregation on how to grow in peace with God, offering examples from people's lives—similar to what we shared in last week's posts. However, it seems that his sermon missed the mark. But don’t worry, church—Professor Rajabian will soon step in to fill the gaps and teach you what was lacking.
In line with the foolishness of honoring the wrong people, Houde followed the Pharisaical pattern described in Scripture (John 5:44), where they honor one another with empty praises before the end of the year to thank them for their work in the church. He went on to claim that his fellow pastors and staff are wise, loving, compassionate, generous, and serve God with integrity. Frankly, it was so over-the-top and contrasted so starkly with who they really are according to Scripture that it left us laughing.Regarding Pharisee Houde's comment about entering the new year 2025, he was also incorrect.
Is January 1st truly the New Year?
Have you ever questioned why January 1st is recognized as the start of a new year? Most of us follow this tradition without pausing to examine its origins. Biblically, the new year is marked differently. In Exodus 12:2, God instructs the Israelites to begin their year with the month of Nisan (around March/April), tied to the season of Passover.
January is not the New Year’s Day!
The concept of January 1st as New Year’s Day has roots in ancient traditions, some of which are pagan. The date originates from Greco-Roman pagan practices, later reinforced by the Gregorian calendar introduced in 1582. Here's a brief breakdown:Roman god Janus
According to Wikipedia, the Roman calendar originally had only 10 months, starting in March, with the new year celebrated during the festival of Janus. However, in 45 BCE, Emperor Julius Caesar reformed the calendar, adding January and February to align with the solar year and established January 1st as the start of the year. January was named after the Roman god Janus, who represented beginnings, transitions, and doorways. Janus was depicted with two faces, one looking to the past and the other to the future, making January 1st a fitting day to mark the new year.
The Roman pantheon consisted of many deities, including gods inherited from the Greeks (e.g., Juno, Mars, Jupiter, Venus), as well as uniquely Roman gods or those adapted from Etruscan and Italic traditions. These deities were associated with aspects of life, nature, and society.
The following is a breakdown of the months’ names and their origins:
1. January (Ianuarius): Named after Janus, the god of doors and gates, symbolizing new beginnings.
2. February (Februarius): Derived from februa, meaning “purifications” or “expiatory rites,” tied to a Roman purification festival.
3. March (Martius): Named after Mars, the god of war, marking the start of the military campaigning season.
4. April (Aprilis): Possibly from aperire (to open), referencing the blossoming of flowers or linked to the goddess Venus (Aphrodite).
5. May (Maius): Named after Maia, an earth goddess associated with growth and fertility.
6. June (Iunius): Named after Juno, goddess of marriage, wife of Jupiter (Zeus).
7. July (Iulius): Originally Quintilis (fifth), renamed in honor of Julius Caesar after his assassination.
8. August (Augustus): Originally Sextilis (sixth), renamed to honor Emperor Augustus.
9. September (September): From septem, meaning “seven,” it was the seventh month in the original 10-month calendar.
10. October (October): From octo, meaning “eight,” it was the eighth month.
11. November (November): From novem, meaning “nine,” it was the ninth month.
12. December (December): From decem, meaning “ten,” it was the tenth month.
With the addition of January and February, these months retained their names, despite their shift in position within the calendar. From a biblical perspective, the adoption of pagan names for months and days can be concerning. Scripture warns against incorporating pagan practices into worship. For example:
Jeremiah 10:2: "Thus says the Lord: 'Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the Gentiles are dismayed at them."
Deuteronomy 12:30-31: Take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them... and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, 'How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.' You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way...
This raises a profound question: how often do we blindly follow traditions without asking why?Let's engage in critical biblical thinking.
Days of the Week of the Roman Calendar
The names of the days of the week in English, as in many other languages, derive from a mix of Roman, Norse, and planetary associations. The Roman calendar was closely linked to the seven classical planets, which in turn were named after gods. As the Roman system spread, it influenced the structure of the week. Here’s a breakdown of the roots of the names of the days of the week, focusing on their origins and subsequent transformations in English:
1. Sunday: Named after the Sun (Solis in Latin)
2. Monday: Named after the Moon (Lunae in Latin)
3. Tuesday: Named after the Norse god Tyr (connected with planet Mars, Martis in Latin)
4. Wednesday: Named after the Nord god Woden (connected with planet Mercury, Mercurii in Latin)
5. Thursday: Named after the Norse god Thor (connected with planet Jupiter, Iovis in Latin)
6. Friday: Named after the Norse goddess Frigg (connected to planet Venus, Veneris in Latin)
7. Saturday: Named after the Roman god Saturn (connected to planet Saturn, Saturni in Latin)The names of the days in English reflect both the Roman planetary system and the Norse gods. The Romans originally named the days of the week after celestial bodies and their associated gods, which was later adopted and modified in the Germanic languages, especially Old English, with Norse gods replacing the Roman deities in some cases.
The Latin days were named after the gods and planets, which were themselves named after celestial bodies such as the Sun, Moon, and planets visible to the naked eye. The Germanic peoples, including the Anglo-Saxons, retained the Roman structure but substituted their own gods for the Roman equivalents.
The Hebrew Calendar
Our calendar was established by God Himself, and the Hebrew Calendar is the one we follow.
Sun & Day: A day begins and ends at sunset. From biblical times to the present, the Israelites have measured the day from sunset to sunset, or more precisely, from sunset until the appearance of the first three stars, signaling the start of a new day (Nehemiah 4:21).
Week: The seven consecutive days form the week of the Jewish week are numbered, not named. They are called the first day, the second day, the third day, and so on to the seventh, which last is also called "sabbath." The sixth day, our Friday night, is known in the New Testament writings as "the eve of the sabbath" (Mark 15:42).
Month & Days: Each month has 29 or 30 days, depending on the lunar cycle.
Year & Months: The Jewish calendar is lunisolar, meaning it is based on both the moon’s phases and the solar year. It consists of 12 lunar months in a normal year, “At the end of the twelve months, he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon…” (Daniel 4:29). And 13 months in a leap year (every 2 to 3 years if applicable).
1. Abib/Nisan - First Month (Exodus 13:4; 12:1, 23:15), (Esther 3:7), (Nehemias 2:1)
2. Ziv - Second Month (1 Kings 6:1, 6:37)
3. Sivan - Third Month (Esther 8:9)
4. Tammuz – Fourth Month (2 Kings 25:1), (Ezekiel 8:14)
5. Av – Fifth Month (Jeremiah 52:12-16)
6. Elul – Sixth Month (Nehemias 6:15)
7. Ethanim – Seventh Month (1 Kings 8:2)
8. Bul – Eight Month (1 Kings 6:38)
9. Chislev – Ninth Month (Nehemias 1:1), (Zechariah 7:1)
10. Tebeth – Tenth Month (Esther 2:16)
11. Shebat – Eleventh Month (Zachariah 1:7)
12. Adar – Twelfth Month (Esther 3:7, 8:12, 9:1)
Hours: The Hebrews adopted the division into twelve hours (John 11:9).New Year: According to the Lord's Calendar, the New Year should be celebrated during the first month of the Jewish Calendar, which occurs in the spring.

Today, Gomorrah streamed another live broadcast on YouTube, featuring an archived Sunday church service focused on Hebrews 6:1-20. This sermon was originally delivered at their headquarters on June 5, 2022. It follows the series of live streams of previous archived services from the Book of Hebrews, which covered chapters 1 through 5. Those services were held on April 24, 2022, May 1, 2022, May 8, 2022 and May 15, 2022, and June 5, 2022. These messages are part of a broader collection of archived sermons on Hebrews, which span from chapters 1 to 13.
In obedience to God, Preacher Rajabian remains steadfast in her dual mission: visiting the church and “Preparing the Way of the Lord.” As part of this calling, we are compelled to address the actions, words, and omissions of Piraquive and the Pharisees within this congregation. While Apostle Maria Luisa Piraquive preached from Hebrews 6:1-20, a passage that highlights faith and God's promise to Abraham, again, we focus on the disconnect between her actions and the message she preached—particularly concerning faith, which we left off discussing last week.
The statement made by Jesus in Matthew 11:23, makes clear the importance of alliance and commitment to Him: “Whoever is not with Me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters.” He clearly states that if someone is not actively supporting His mission, they are indirectly opposing it. In this context, being “with” Jesus means aligning with His message and mission. Those who refuse to do this, are essentially working against the very purpose He came to fulfill. In the meantime, we continue to observe and comment on the actions of both the Pharisees at the Church of God in Times Square and the Pharisees of the Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International.
On January 5, Tim Dilena, a Pharisee, delivered a sermon titled "Jonah Has Too Many Chapters," in which he emphasized that the central theme of the book of prophet Jonah is obedience to God. He pointed out that prophet Jonah's disobedience to God resulted in unnecessary challenges, effectively adding chapters" to his life. However, despite his efforts to align himself with the teaching, knowledge, wisdom, and practices of preacher Rajabian, there were several key observations that Dilena did not quite get right.
1. After we commented that Karen would never wear black clothes to preach in church and that the Pharisees had stopped using their black uniforms, they have now resumed wearing them on Sundays. They continue to do this to show that their choice of black uniforms is not related to her. The Pharisees try to emulate Karen in all things—mistankenly mirroring her preferred clothing color as their own choice. However, Karen will never wear black to preach because, according to God, white differentiates the good servants from the bad, symbolized by white and black sheep. Furthermore, it was white linen, not black garments, that the priests wore during their service to the Lord, signifying holiness and purity while serving at the temple or altar.
2. Despite his limitations, he aimed to emulate preacher Rajabian's teaching style by focusing on details and striving to simplify the explanation of Bible chapters in the same manner she does.
3. He proudly displayed and introduced on the church screen vocabulary that Karen uses at home, which they must have overheard through wiretaps, as well as Pentecostal and doctrinal terms such as the will of God, rebellion against God, deliverance, and others which we've been using in this series.
5. He condemned prophet Jonah’s disobedience to God, a matter that even God did not condemn. Condemning sinners is a common practice among the Pharisees (John 8:1-11). However, disobedience is not the central theme of prophet Jonah’s story. Certainly, Professor Rajabian is committed to addressing the issue with the church at the appropriate time, especially regarding the gaps in this sermon.
6. The sermon lacked biblical insight and depth, as he failed to thoroughly analyze and convey the true significance of the chapters he addressed. For a long time, we've observed a consistent pattern in the efforts and struggles of the deceitful Pharisees to emulate Karen—mirroring her preaching and teaching styles, and way of worshipping the Lord, her shout of joy when she worships, as well as the way she expresses and presents herself. As the foolish Pharisees love and value the praises of people more than the praise of God (John 12:43), we anticipate that this tendency will continue in their future sermons.
7. He implied that Karen is a disobedient prophet like Jonah for not obeying God and preaching to the people in the place they were called to. At this point, I am with my Commander if she ends up having his tongue removed for making such a false statement because she is obeying God and will return to the church on the Day of the Lord after receiving the pending documents from the U.S. government.
8. Pharisee Dilena claimed that he is always obedient to God, which is a false statement. In Matthew 15:7-9, Jesus emphasizes that the Pharisees outwardly appear religious, but their hearts are not aligned with God’s will. He accuses them of following human traditions rather than God’s commands, which reflects disobedience to God’s true intentions.THE LORD IS MY BANNER

The Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International has been inconsistent in its live streaming of current sermons. Today, the church streamed another archived Sunday service on YouTube, focusing on Hebrews 7:1-28. This sermon, originally delivered at their headquarters on June 12, 2022, is part of a series featuring previous services from the Book of Hebrews, covering chapters 1 to 13. This pattern raises concerns for a church that has emphasized its 55 years of service to God while opposing others, such as Karen Rajabian, from preaching God's message to His church.
In contrast, preacher Rajabian, unwavering in her dedication to serving God, attended the local branch in Queens, New York. The live sermons delivered there attempt to justify the church's resistance to receiving God's message through her. However, this is futile, as no matter what they preach to rationalize their actions, it remains unjustifiable in God's eyes, for it is He who offers justification, and He will not justify the failure of church leaders to work in unity with Karen. God doesn't like divisions and envy in the church, rather He delights in unity among his people who have the same love, being of one accord, of one mind (Philippians 2:2), (1 Corinthians 1:10).Exposing evil within the church, the lies and hidden truths, and all sinful acts that obstruct the Lord's path before His revelation to Israel and the world, is part of God's calling to Karen in her ministry to His people.
Maria Luisa Piraquive's sermon on Hebrews 7:1-28 focuses on Abraham's encounter with Melchizedek, emphasizing Abraham's recognition of the supremacy of Melchizedek's priesthood, which foreshadowed Jesus' priesthood in the order of Melchizedek. It also highlights Abraham's deep reverence for this priest as he acknowledges the superiority of his priesthood over his own, which served as a precursor to the Levitical priesthood. This reverence is demonstrated through Abraham’s acts of faith, including building altars to God (Genesis 12:7-8, Genesis 13:18), engaging in worship (Genesis 14:20), and offering sacrifices to the Lord (Genesis 14:18). In this context, we must once again question the disparity between Piraquive's preached message and her actions, particularly the noticeable gap between her practices and the faith exemplified by spiritual father Abraham.
It is well-known that God has communicated with Karen through various channels, including several of the church's prophets. These revelations have confirmed her calling to serve Him in Gomorrah and to “Prepare the Way of the Lord” before His manifestation to the world. However, when Piraquive questions God's backing of the message He entrusted to Karen, she demonstrates a lack of faith, casting doubt on the mission Karen has been given by God.
Despite the prophetic messages Karen has received directly from God and the words spoken by the prophets in Gomorrah to both her and Piraquive, preparing her heart for the Lord’s message, it seems that, after 16 years, Piraquive remains skeptical and dismissive of the church’s prophets. These prophets violated Karen’s privacy by sharing the revelations given to her with the pastors and others in the church. Piraquive’s persistent rejection of God’s word—claiming that God does not endorse the message Karen is meant to preach—demonstrates a concerning lack of faith and trust in what God has clearly communicated, particularly regarding the unity of the church with Rajabian.Piraquive’s disbelief is deeply concerning. God’s word instructs His church not to reject prophecies, but to test them. As 1 Thessalonians 5:18-22 says: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things, hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.”
We have consistently affirmed with confidence that Karen Rajabian has no message to deliver other than the one God has entrusted to her: to “Prepare the Way of the Lord.” When Piraquive claims that God does not endorse this message, it reveals that she she has failed to test the prophecies and that God doesn't respond to her prayers. Instead, it seems she has resorted to impose her own desires onto God’s actions, rather than recognizing His sovereignty and how He is working things out. Her words and actions expose a lack of true faith in God, undermining the very beliefs that should guide her conduct. At this point, it is essential that Piraquive acknowledges both God’s sovereignty over “His Church” and Karen’s role as her spiritual mother before the Lord, ensuring that the faith she preaches is reflected in her actions.
